This course is suitable for students who want to build a career in computers, IT support, office automation, networking, web development or basic programming. It is particularly useful for learners who enjoy working with computers and want a practical course that combines office software with modern IT skills such as web technologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI and Python. The official entry requirement is Class 10 pass, and the minimum age is 14 years on the first day of the academic session.

The official curriculum is structured as a one-year course, not formally divided into semesters. For a course brochure or website, it can be presented as two progressive semesters.

Semester 1 – Computer Fundamentals, Office Applications & Networking
Students begin with computer hardware, peripherals, Windows and Linux operating systems, software installation, DOS/PowerShell commands and basic troubleshooting. They then develop practical skills in Word processing, presentations and spreadsheets, including formatting, formulas, charts, tables and data management. The first phase also introduces advanced spreadsheets, MySQL databases, computer networking, Internet connectivity and network security.

Semester 2 – Web Development, Cloud, Cybersecurity, AI & Programming
Students move into HTML and CSS web design, JavaScript-based dynamic websites, web hosting, GitHub and CMS tools. They learn e-commerce operations, cloud services and application development lifecycle concepts, followed by cybersecurity practices such as protecting systems, Wi-Fi security, backups, malware awareness and IT Act concepts. The advanced portion includes AI tools for documents, spreadsheets, presentations and content creation, and programming with Python, including variables, data types, conditions, loops, collections, modules, file handling and practical projects.
